Lambrusco Emilia IGT Dry

Grasparossa di Castelvetro sparkling red without added sulfites

Ruby red color with violet reflections and an evanescent foam of the same hue, it has an intense, fruity, and fragrant winey aroma that also recalls the scent of the grape. The taste is savory, harmonious, pleasantly winey, with balanced acidity, slightly fruity, and a pleasant bitter aftertaste. The dry type is well-made, (surprisingly!) well-structured; among Lambrusco DOC types, Grasparossa is the one with the fullest and most present body.

Pairs well with first courses seasoned with meat, baked pasta, roasts, cured meats, and cheeses including aged varieties.
