General Objectives

The goal of the project “Innovative International Resistant Varieties (PIWI) for Competitive and Highly Sustainable Viticulture – CO.VI.RES” is to evaluate new pathogen-resistant grape varieties, recently obtained through traditional genetic improvement programs assisted by MAS (Marker-Assisted Selection). This is intended to achieve objective information on their effective agronomic and oenological performance, for their cultivation and dissemination within the regional wine production sector.
